Police Chief Michelle Cook was a leader at Clay High School who grew to lead a force of over a thousand sworn law enforcement professionals and handle a budget of over $100 million. She started as a street cop, worked her way up through the ranks as an incident commander, a patrol chief, and a true leader.
Police Chief Michelle Cook has run the toughest law enforcement commands in a big city. She headed Narcotics and Vice, was Incident Commander for the Jacksonville Swat Team, Director of Professional Standards, oversaw the training academy, recruiting, personnel, internal affairs and the firing range.
With a Masters in Criminal Justice, Michelle Cook is a national leader and teacher in Active Shooter Incident Management. She knows what to do, and she teaches others how to do it. She is a tough, proven leader.
